And finally, we have a new journal coming to APA PsycArticles in 2025!

Read on to learn more about these new updates, as well as other publishing initiatives from APA.

Our citations exceed market expectations

In 2023, APA Journals™ were cited at more than twice the rate of articles published, with our market share of citations far exceeding that of any other publisher in psychology.

If all citable items were cited equally, then the expected market share of citable content would equal the market share of citations. These data demonstrate our commitment to publishing the most impactful research in psychology and beyond.

79 of APA’s 89 eligible journals received a Journal Impact Factor (JIF) from Clarivate Analytics, who publishes the annual Journal Citation Reports (JCR).
