Our next series of PsycINFO® webinars for students and faculty will run on November 30, December 1, and December 2 from 11 – 11:30 a.m. EST (UTC -5). The sessions may be taken separately, but we encourage those who are interested to take all three, and offer them on consecutive days:
We will provide information relevant to all search platforms including APA PsycNET, EBSCOhost, Ovid, and ProQuest. The platform used will be based on the needs of the attendees of each session. For more information on this series, including full descriptions, please visit our website.
These webinars are an ideal way for students to get a refresher on PsycINFO if they have had a previous training session. Please help us spread the word to interested students and faculty!
The Charleston Conference will be held in Charleston, SC, from October 31 – November 5, 2016. The American Psychological Association will be participating in the Vendor Showcase on November 2, from 10:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Stop by to learn more about APA Style CENTRAL®, an exciting new electronic resource for APA Style® that launched this summer, and get the latest updates about APA Journals, Books, and Databases.
The APA Style CENTRAL® Online Introduction is a 1-hour webinar that introduces librarians to APA Style CENTRAL. The session includes a content overview and live demonstration of features, and is a great way tour the learning resources available, and get acquainted with the platform.
If you’ve been interested in attending but haven’t been able to join a session, you’ll be glad to hear that we recently posted the presentation online. Please feel free to share this with any colleagues who may be interested, and to adapt it for your own training sessions.
You can view or download the presentation on the APA Style CENTRAL SlideShare channel.
The schedule for this, and other, APA Style CENTRAL webinars is available on our website.
